TO BE APPROVED BY OWNER
BMW Z1, date of first registration: 29/08/1991, chassis number: WBABA91010AL04602, read mileage: 71.000km, engine capacity: 2500cc
Fuel: Petrol, gearbox: Manual
DOCUMENTS: Belgian certificate of registration, certificate of conformity.
EXTRA INFO:
The BMW Z1 is a convertible from the Bavarian car manufacturer BMW. The Z1 was designed in 1986 by Harm Lagaay. Of the car, which was presented in 1987, exactly 8,000 copies were produced between 1989 and 1991. More than three quarters of these were sold on their own market, Germany. The most striking thing about this car were the doors that could sink into the body. That body was entirely Thermoplast, cast by General Electric in body panels. The car was also the first car in the world with standard tires 1g in turns could make it, partly because of the bonnet in reversed wing profile and the transversal exhaust which also had a reversed wing profile.
A 2.5 liter 6-in-line provided the drive. He delivered 171 hp at 5,800 rpm and 218 Nm of torque. The car had a manual gearbox with 5 gears and could reach 225 km / h. The sprint from 0 to 100 km / h went in 7.8 seconds
This Z1 is a good example, complete and working with a relatively low mileage. The paintwork is original as well as the interior. The Z1 drives and brakes as it should.
Estimate from the auctioneer: € 50,000 - € 53,000
