VOORLOPIGE TOEWIJZING
Studebaker Champion 1950 in uitmuntende restauratie-staat
Studebaker Champion in excellent restauration condition.
The then futuristic shape of this American design icon from the 50s, named 'Bullet Nose', after its specific frontside, was designed by Raymond Loewy, also the inventor of the Coca-Cola bottle and the packaging of Lucky Strike cigarettes.
This vehicle, purchased in 1998 at the Auto-museum in Bergeyk (NL), was restored by its previous owner over a period of 15 years with great care and passion. The car was bought out of nostalgia because this type was the first car that the owner drove at the time in 1955, at the age of 22, in the Belgian Congo. During the restoration period, the owner also contacted and visited the 1st owner in the USA (South Bend).
The car is in excellent condition and has always been stored indoors.
