The AMI 8 Familiar is the first break for the "" normal family "". At the time we had the 2CV and the über DS at Citroën. To close the gap between these two rulers there was the friend, the ami. Citroën quickly realized that something had to be done commercially and brought out the practical "" Familiar "". A break version of the AMI 8 with more space and especially more luggage space.
This is an AMI 8 of the 2nd generation. Equipped with technology of the 2CV especially, such as the spring system but a bit stiffer and the engine. This "" Familiar "" comes from Spain. This makes it a very hard car. The paintwork is good. Cover neatly. You just see that this is an original, unpunched car. Everything is still in place and fits nicely. A purebred classic.
