TO BE APPROVED BY OWNER
JENSEN HEALY MK2, date of first registration: 01/07/1973, chassis number: 13326, km reading: 27.586Mph, engine capacity: 2000cc Lotus Esprit
Fuel: Petrol, gearbox: Manual
DOCUMENTS: Dutch on-board documents
EXTRA INFO:
The Jensen brothers started building special bodies in the 1930s. The first models of this brand came on the market in 1935. Just before the Second World War, Jensen built his own car, powered by an American Nash and a 3.6-liter Ford V8 engine. Shortly after the war Jensen built sporty models
The Jensen brothers had left the company in 1966. The American car wholesaler Kjell Qvale acquired the majority of the shares in 1970 and added David Healey as a board member. In collaboration with Healey, the Jensen-Healey was built in the seventies. The Lotus engine was used as a power source, which is one of the great successes of this model today
This Jensen is in good general condition. The paintwork is not young but generally good with charming traces of use, as well as for the interior. Should the Jensen not have fallen without petrol now it would start and drive. Furthermore, the car is complete to the original rims.
Estimate of the auctioneer: € 13,000 - € 15,500
