Mercedes released the Mille Miglia edition in 1995 to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the victory of Stirling Moss at the Mille Miglia road race of 1955. The limited edition was available in both SL 280, SL 320 or SL 500, came in Brilliant Silver metallic and had Evo II six-spoke polished alloys, red and black leather interior, carbon fiber finish and extra equipment. Stirling Moss received the first SL 500 that was built. According to the brochure of this special edition, only 600 were built. This SL is in good general condition with normal traces of use. The battery must be checked for standing still. The car starts, drives and brakes.
